Melissa Bates
Founder & Executive director
Melissa is a North Carolina transplant and a graduate of Arizona State University. She grew up in a busy household with five children, and enjoyed a very close relationship with her grandparents, who were central to the focus of the family. From these roots grew a passion for and dedication to helping the elderly. This led to a career in hospital and hospice care, and eventually to the formation of Tender Touch. Melissa's education, healthcare
background, and her own personal experience strengthened her desire to
make a difference in other families lives. Melissa understands the
trials and challenges families face when it comes to elder care
options. Melissa's mission is to educate the community about the
options available. Melissa attributes her success to her true passion
of sharing her healthcare knowledge to families, and in this way giving
back to the community.
Amy Robb
Placement Advisor
Born in Kansas City Missouri, Amy graduated in 2001 from the University of Kansas with her Masters of Social Work degree. In 2003 she moved to Chandler Arizona.
Amy has more than 10 years experience in the healthcare field as a social worker and marketing in skilled nursing, hospice, hospital, acute rehab and non-medical home care. With impeccable follow-up, she enjoys personally getting to know her referral sources and clients so that positive relations are built. Amy uses knowledge gained throughout her work experience to provide families and clients with the assurance of knowing that their loved one is properly taken care of. Quality care and individual placement is key to the success of her business
